Anders Ericson

Pursuing a dual performing career on both lute and electric guitar has led Anders Ericson to a diverse array of concert venues worldwide. His extensive recording portfolio spans shoegazing French baroque lute, accompanying renowned singers on theorbo, and playing lead guitar on heavy metal albums. A few notable releases include Lyra Sonora, Music for a While, and For the Love of Art and the Making. Apart from the promotion of the Swedish lute, Anders' primary focus is his solo band, HESTRA, as well as the 17th century French lute. Released in 2025, the world premiere recording Solo Pieces for Lutha introduces the Swedish lute and its captivating repertoire to contemporary audiences.
